Lunch shifts with Shepherd's Table begin at 9am with prep and service to the community concludes at 12:30pm. The shifts can be split; prep only from 9-11, and service only from 11-12:30. Dinner shifts begin at 6pm for prep and service concludes for the shelter guests at 8pm. The Eye Clinic at Shepherd's Table is the only free Eye Clinic in Montgomery County, providing professional eye care to adults who lack insurance and meet an income eligibility requirement. Patients receive a free eye exam and field vision screening. If needed, prescription glasses are given free of charge. As Shepherd’s Star, we come alongside people who have experienced life challenges and who desire to move forward, to learn new skills, grow in confidence and improve their wellbeing so they are able to reconnect with community and actively contribute to society. Our aim is for every individual to live a more connected, hopeful and rewarding life.

As we move towards hosting agricultural workshops and opportunities, the urban garden will provide a literal opportunity to step into self-sufficiency. We serve a free, hot and nutritious meal to over 275 men, women and children each day. Anyone and everyone is welcome to come and dine with us, with no questions asked.
